Merrimac Heights Academy is a unique school that offers highly specialized and individualized education with equal emphasis on academics and vocational skills. We utilize a collaborative approach that includes teachers, therapists, families and LEAs working together to realize the potential in each student. Life skills, social pragmatics and executive functioning instruction are integrated into the classroom and community regularly. Additional program highlights include language based instruction across the curriculum, individual reading and math tutorials, person centered planning, onsite vocational opportunities, highly supported internships, and more.
