MAAPS membership supports our mission to represent private special education schools in their goal of providing the highest quality education to students with special needs.
MAAPS offers two categories of membership:
Full membership in the Association is available to all corporations that have Massachusetts approved Chapter 766 private schools. Dues are based upon Chapter 766 and/or special education tuition income. Membership runs from July 1 – June 30.

Advisors, Sponsors and Associate Members
Advisors, Sponsors and Associate Members are designed for companies and associations providing products and services that strengthen private special education schools. The membership year runs from January 1 – December 31.
Leveraging the collective buying power of our members, MAAPS offers exclusive discounts and value-added services through our Cost Savings Programs.
Membership in MAAPS signifies a commitment to excellence and ethical integrity. MAAPS is concerned that all children with special needs have access to appropriate, high quality educational experiences and treatment options which are necessary for their individual growth and development.
MAAPS has been THE critical support organization in terms of planning how to navigate the COVID crisis.
MAAPS has been an invaluable resource to our school. They have facilitated an environment where schools can learn from each other how to navigate the COVID challenge. I have never been a part of a professional organization that has been as dedicated, resourceful and savvy as MAAPS has been!
