The Victor School is a welcoming, inclusive community where an exceptional education and individualized therapeutic support go hand in hand. Our students have solid academic abilities and are often considered gifted; they also have social/emotional challenges that have been under served in previous school settings. Many struggle with executive functioning, or have a specific area of relative weakness in their learning profiles; oftentimes these pieces have been misunderstood, missed or considered secondary to the mental health needs. Our unique program allows students to continue their college-preparatory education within a supportive environment. Students learn about their specific learning profile, develop skills needed for success, and translate their growth into the larger community via dual enrollment, volunteer or work opportunities. Using Collaborative Problem Solving as our primary therapeutic model, we partner with students and their families, providing them with the tools to meet, and often exceed, their goals and make their vision a reality.
