Cardinal Cushing Centers provide multi modal curriculum and project based instruction for students aged 6-22 in our day program and 10-22 in our residential program. Options also include extended evaluations and per diem programming. The focus is on generalization of skills across settings. Integrated teams utilize the principles of ABA and structured teaching to increase skills acquisition and self regulation. Transition skills are supported with 7 vocational sites on campus with multiple opportunities for reverse inclusion and by partnering with over fifteen area businesses. Residential life provides the opportunity to extend learning beyond the classroom through teaching independent living skills such as hygiene, wellness, cooking, and laundry. Students live in newly remodeled homes on our beautifully landscaped campus. Robust recreational opportunities foster authentic opportunities for social development. The common goal for everyone served by Cardinal Cushing Centers is to enjoy learning, realize their potential, and see themselves as valued, important members of society.
