Anchor Academy values collaboration with students' families and treatment teams. Anchor Academy provides instruction through the use of project-based, hands-on learning. Transitional and vocational opportunities focus on developing students’ individual strengths, skills, and interests. On-campus and community-based activities focus on developing life and work skills pertinent to post-secondary success. Anchor Academy’s trauma-informed therapeutic framework provides students with opportunities to increase self-awareness, foster positive interpersonal dynamics, promote resilience, and develop functional regulation tools that they can utilize across all domains.
