The Massachusetts Association of Approved Special Education Schools (MAAPS) represents approved out-of-district special education schools that partner with Local Education Agencies (LEAs) as part of Massachusetts’ continuum of placement options. On Friday, April 10, 2026, MAAPS will host its second annual School Fair, bringing together representatives from more than 80 approved special education schools at the Conference Center at Waltham Woods in Waltham, MA.
Join fellow special education professionals for a morning of learning and connection:
- All attendees receive a free copy of the 2026 MAAPS Directory of Approved Special Education Schools
- Enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast
- Meet admissions representatives from across the state
- Ask questions, gather information, and strengthen relationships to help streamline the referral process
Please note: The MAAPS School Fair is a professional conference for networking and informational purposes. Special education professionals, educational advocates, and medical professionals involved in the alternative placement process are invited to attend. The School Fair is not intended for students and families. Referrals should be sent through conventional means and students evaluated through each school’s individual admissions screening process.
BILLING: A credit card will be required for purchase. MAAPS uses Stripe as our electronic payment platform. Simply pay by credit card as you would for any other online purchase.
RECORD OF PURCHASE: MAAPS will issue a confirmation to the email used to make the purchase, which serves as your receipt.
