MAAPS School Fair Brings Together Special Education Professionals

On April 10, MAAPS convened over 300 special education professionals from approved special education schools, public school districts, medical and clinical experts, and educational advocates to share information about the unique services and settings available in member schools.

You will learn a lot about the vast array of schools and have the opportunity to speak directly to directors from many diverse schools. There is always the possibility you’ll find a connection for a good placement for a student that has been difficult to place.

Great way to meet reps from local schools (some of whom we have met remotely) and better understand their programming to make better recommendations to families and district reps.

It is a great networking event and an opportunity to learn about the schools. Even if you think you know them, there is always something new to learn! Your next OOD referral may depend on it.
