The May Center School for Brain Injury and Neurobehavioral Disorders provides day and residential educational services for children and adolescents ages 5- 22 with acquired and traumatic brain injury and other neurological disorders. Our year-round, full-day school provides students with educational, behavioral, medical and rehabilitative services. Ongoing family training and support is included. Highly structured programming is individually tailored and occurs in the classroom and community. The classrooms have 1:2 staff-student ratios and utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) specialists and licensed teachers work with students, helping them regain cognitive skills and independence needed to return to public schools, jobs, family life, and other community settings. The May Center provides direct and collaborative services in OT, PT and speech, on-site nursing care, as well as individual and group counseling. Residential services are also offered in 24 hour supervised, community-based residences.
