The New England Center for ChildrenĀ® (NECC) is a nonprofit school providing evidence-based treatment and services for children with autism. Programs include a full-service day school for children age 3-22, and a safe, structured residential program that seamlessly integrates with the day school. Our mission is to provide children with autism the skills they need to live as independently as possible.
Specialty services, including speech and language, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and adapted physical therapy are delivered using a consultative collaborative model, where clinicians work with children throughout their day and environments. The campus includes an aquatics center, gymnasium, career development center (including a working greenhouse), and a student activities center with dedicated classrooms for music, art, academics, and a library.
There is also a full-service dental clinic with practitioners from Boston University's School of Dental Medicine providing onsite dental care for students. Visit www.necc.org or watch our video OnePowerfulPlace.com.
