Lighthouse School has a more than 60-year history as a treatment center and a school devoted to children and young adults with complex clinical and learning needs. The foundation for all of this is APEX (Assimilated Personal Enrichment Experiences), our unique bioeducational or life educational technology. The goal for every student is to have their enrollment be as short as possible and to leave Lighthouse with the skills and insights that maximize success across life contexts. The work towards this goal begins with a matrix of interdisciplinary services individualized to the needs of each student. These services are delivered by a highly trained and credentialed team in a consistent and coordinated manner that maximizes outcomes. Family Services are allocated to every student based on our belief that students benefit when all of the important adults in their life unite in supporting and advancing their wellbeing. Finally, we offer psychiatric and case management services to further integrate school and community resources into a cohesive whole.
