The Darnell School offers intensive educational services to children, adolescents and young adults with an autism spectrum disorder, developmental disability and/or behavioral challenges. The Darnell School utilizes best practices within the areas of special education, behavior analysis, vocational preparation, and community inclusion in planning for each student. The operating framework for the school draws upon the guiding principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and we are committed to using ABA’s array of evidence-based strategies in our instructional and treatment plans. We are committed to the belief that every student we serve is valued and should have the opportunity to achieve the goals he/she desires. Family participation in the identification of quality of life outcomes is critical in the development of IEP goals. Instruction occurs in the areas of academics, communication, community, safety, social, vocational, behavior and independent living skills. Services are provided by a highly-trained staff of educators, clinicians, and support staff. https://darnellschool.org
