The Pallotta School is a licensed therapeutic day school on an 8-acre campus with recreational facilities (pool, splash pad, new basketball court, two playgrounds, walking track), outdoor fields, student-tended vegetable gardens, and new 1:1 technology. We meet the needs of youth with ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities, ASD (Level 1), mood disorders, foster care/adoption, trauma history, oppositional behavior, and LGBTQ identification. The students are aged 5-14 years. Students learn in a highly structured environment with access to a multidisciplinary team, including MA DESE-certified special education teachers, mental health clinicians, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and nursing. The school offers 45-day extended evaluations. School-based clinicians provide individual therapy, group work, art therapy, case management, and crisis intervention. The approved ratio is 12:1:1, and classes typically have 7-9 students, one special education teacher, and two teacher assistants in each classroom.
