Ashuelot Valley Academy is a co-ed day school located in Keene, NH serving children grades 5-12 and is part of Mount Prospect Academy, Inc. and is a NHDOE approved Non-Public School and Special Education Program. Ashuelot Valley Academy, a day school, where students live at home and attend their academics at AVA. AVA provides a high faculty to student ratio. Ashuelot Valley Academy uses many options and modalities, to promote behavioral change and emotional growth, by employing principles of applied behavioral analysis, clinical models and interventions including: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ARC (Attachment, Regulation and Competency), Therapeutic Recreation, as well as individual and group counseling.
