We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate Master’s Level Clinician to join Riverside Community Care as a Part Time School Based Clinician!

In coordination with school administration and guidance staff, the School Based Clinician will:
participate in student review teams
provide both individual and group psychotherapy to students
aid in school wide mental health related initiatives
assist in crisis intervention as needed
provide consultation to teachers and other school staff upon request
provide culturally competent individual and family psychotherapy to a multicultural client population
develop clinically-appropriate, multimodal intervention plans including consultations, outreach and crisis intervention

Schedule: Part Time 20 hours per week (hours worked would need to be between 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.); schedule flexibility required to meet the needs of the program

Required Skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Must be able to work independently in a school setting working with a public school team
Must be able to respond to youth and families in an empowering, sensitive, culturally competent and respectful manner
Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle

Required Experience
Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related area required; Independent Licensure preferred
At least one year of experience post-masters degree
Experience working with children and/or adolescents with significant emotional and behavioral challenges
