The Guild for Human Services
The Guild for Human Services is seeking a highly qualified Chief Education Officer to oversee The Guild School, a licensed, day and residential, special education school for approximately 80-90 students diagnosed with intellectual disabilities, autism and an array of co-occurring disorders. The Guild School is located at 521 Virginia Road, Concord, MA.
The Guild School employs approximately 80 staff members for daytime educational programming between 8:30am and 4:00pm, 234 days per year. The Chief Education Officer is responsible for all educational staffing, including special educators, paraeducators, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, vocational coaches, physical educators, as well consulting professionals, managers, and directors. S/he is supported by colleagues, including the Chief Clinical Officer who oversees mental health therapies and behavior analysis programming as well as the Chief Program Officer who oversees residential programming, nursing, and student services.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to diverse learners in a special education environment, a history of developing collaborative staff teams, experience building supportive systems and structures, as well as a can-do attitude.
